There are no hidden costs: all gas, electricity, bedding, bed linen, towels, tea-towels, hand soap and an initial supply of toilet rolls are included in the price. An English couple also act as caretaker and are available should you need any assistance during your stay. They clean the property between guests and service the pool. Additional Information 1. Arrival & Departure - Please note all bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Please contact David Dalrymple to arrange the handing over of the keys. Entry to the property should not be before 4pm on the day of arrival and it would be appreciated if you could vacate on your day of departure by 10am. Please leave the property as you found it on arrival. 2. Deposits/Damage - A refundable deposit of £300 is required against possible breakages. This must be paid four weeks prior to departure and will be refunded within four weeks of your return. 3. Equipment/Facilities - The house is fully equipped for self-catering, bed linen and one bath towel per person are provided. Guests must bring their own pool towels. 4. Swimming Pool - The pool is normally open from the beginning of May to the end of September. It is unsupervised and holidaymakers using it do so at their own risk. The owner shall not be liable to the client for any injury or death while using the swimming pool. Children and non-swimmers should be supervised at all times by at least two adults who can swim and who are capable of rescuing anyone in trouble. Supervising adults take full responsibility for the children and non-swimmers in their care. Please note that the pool is not suitable for diving as the maximum depth is less than 6 foot (1.8 metres). The shallow end is approx. 1.3 metres and the deep end 1.8 metres. Swimming after eating or consumption of alcohol is dangerous as is running beside the pool. Do not leave children and non-swimmers unattended near the swimming pool. 5. Gas and Electricity - Used for general domestic purposes is free, although any wasteful use will be charged for. 6. Amenities - The use of the accommodation, swimming pool and other amenities is entirely at the user's risk. No responsibility can be accepted for injury, or loss/damage to the user's or other visitors’ belongings. The party leader will indemnify the owners against all losses and/or damage to the property and furnishings arising from any act or default of the party leader or anyone else in the party. 7. Motor cars and personal belongings - No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to motor cars and personal belongings at Maison Perigord. All items retained at the property are entirely at the owners risk. 8. Telephone - The telephone is free of charge, this accepts all incoming calls, but outgoing calls are limited to the local area.
